2009 NASA AI/CMC Round 2

Overview

Having made our first race with BFP late in 2008, we were eager to get on the track again and the first opportunity in 2009 was at the Texas AI/CMC Round 2.

As was going to be the case all year, this race saw plenty of rain and made for some interesting racing.

The car was largely sorted out at this point, which was good, because it rained the whole week including all day Friday making any work at the track largely impossible.

Due to scheduling issues, we were only able to get to the track Friday and Saturday, but we made the best of it; rain or shine, Texas AI/CMC has fun!

Kyri had to work so I got to the track on Friday to try and get the car sorted out early but the rain was crazy all day. About 6 of us got there by midday and had lunch together. I finally just unloaded around 5PM and headed home hoping the rain would stop..."it can't rain all the time".
