Have Mustang, Will Pass

At first I was just looking to do some basic mods to BFP – just enough to make her mine.

Then one day, a friend of mine who had been trying to get me out to run a High Performance Driving Event with him, sent me a IM about an event coming up and I decided to give it a try.

That first event, BFP was completely stock….other than the shorty antenna and the pony decal.

Stock tires – stock brakes – stock pads – stock fluids.

Even with all that, she made a pretty good showing on the track and I was hooked.  The mods started coming at a rate that matched my progress through the HPDE learning curve.  After just a few events, BlueFirePony was taking on all sorts of “better” track cars.

The *infamous* Mustang GT vs Exige video

Lap 1 @ MSR - light snack...the mini's :) JK, actually I know two of these guys pretty well and they are great drivers and a lot of fun to be around.

Lap 2 @ MSR - On to the 'Vettes Before you ask, I waved off the pass early in the video because I got black flagged for passing their earlier..turns out the grid control was mistaken and they let me pass there later. Ohh...and yes, the wipers do slow you down, so make sure you don't hit them like I did :)

Lap 3 @ MSR - Have Mustang, Will Pass :) Tires were at temp by this point; just trying to keep a nice pace...not overdoing it.
