BlueFire Racing is a grass-roots club racing team.
This site is to promote and chronical our passion and pursuit of competition in the sport of auto racing.
Over the coming months we will be posting information and media that we hope will be of interest and use to some of you out there.

We are just getting the team started and have finished work on our first race car, BlueFirePony (aka BFP).
BFP is a 2005 Mustang GT that was a daily driver for almost 3 years.
BFP competed in her first wheel-to-wheel in 2008. We raced to our first podium (2nd place) early in 2009.
We were awarded the 2009 Texas American Iron Rookie Of the Year

If you are interested in reading about our adventures, we have several race write-ups already and will be posting along the way.
We have plans to compete her much more in 2010 - pending our schedules - I know - get our priorities straight!. You can find out more about the build-up of BFP as well.

We have plans for several more race cars over the next few years, including a Chevrolet Camaro, Chevy Cobalt and Suburu WRX Sti.

Over time we'll add more to the site and we hope to make the site more community oriented so please check back from time to time.
